City-Wide Ministries covers the three Palmerston North Parishes of Our Lady of Lourdes, the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit and St. Mary’s City.

Citywide Parish Youth Minister – Justin Lino:

Mālo Everyone! My name is Ugone-Higano, but most will know me as Justin. I am a proud New Zealand-born Tokelauan.  I currently reside in Palmerston North, where I’ve called home for the past 10+ years. I have a passion of working alongside Rangatahi and am super excited to do so while supporting them within their faith journey, including mine. I’m fortunate enough to be chosen to lead the “Senior Youth Group” and continue the LEGACY of what was developed by the amazing Tausilia.

St Peter’s College Chaplain – Emma Whitson:

Hi everyone my name is Emma Whitson, I am the school chaplain at St Peter’s College Palmerston North.  I am married to Andy and have three children, my eldest is at St Peter’s and my younger two go to St James’ Catholic School.  It is important for me to see young people grow in faith and to have a connection with God as they navigate the ups and downs of school years and beyond.  It is wonderful to be a part of an encouraging faith community and to see God at the centre of this. 

The City-Wide Team is based in the Diocesan offices – 33 Amesbury Street, Palmerston North.
