We combine all the children in a single community of Kids. So everyone who is seeking baptism, first communion, reconciliation all prepare together over several months.

The learning time is a process for children over 8 years of age who want to join the Catholic Church.

Children under 8 years are considered infants so Infant Baptism applies.

Under this tab you’ll find information for the sacraments processes and contact information.

We work extensively with our Catholic schools on sacramental preparation.

Our preparation process has the following elements:

Sunday Parish participation

  • Attending Sunday Children’s Liturgy and Sunday Mass
  • Attending a Sunday Learning Session (every two weeks)
  • Getting to know the culture of the parish
  • Feeling at home in the parish church

Family Participation

  • Parents/ Caregivers are included in the preparation process
  • Parents/ Caregivers and other family members can attend the Sunday Learning Session
  • Parents/Caregivers are ultimately responsible for the faith formation of their children.

Parish School Participation

  • Religious Education in the Parish School and the Sunday Learning Session are the twin bases of the process.
  • Working with the Principal and Director of Religious Studies, we have a collaborative process.
  • The classroom faith education is extended through the Sunday Learning Session.
