4 April – Chrism Mass
Tuesday at the Cathedral, 12.00 pm.
No Morning Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes.
Please bring a plate to share after Mass with people from around the diocese.
Baking can be left in the Cathedral lounge before the Mass.
Photos will be taken during the Mass.

6 April – Holy Thursday Mass
At Our Lady of Lourdes, 7.00 pm
This is the combined Mass for the Cathedral and Lourdes parishes.

7 April – Good Friday
Ecumenical Morning Prayer, Cathedral 9.00 am
Stations of the Cross, Our Lady of Lourdes 11.00 am
Ecumenical Cross Procession begins at noon at the Fitzherbert Bridge.
The Passion of the Lord service is 3.00 pm in each parish Church.
8 April – Holy Saturday – Day of silence and contemplation
9 April – Easter Sunday
Easter Vigil and Mass of Resurrection 5 am at the Cathedral. This is the Easter Vigil for the three parishes.

Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, 7.30 am and 9.30 am
Our Lady of Lourdes, 9.30 am
St Mary’s Foxton Parish, Shannon, 9.00 am and Foxton, 10.30 am.
NO 6.00 pm Mass at the Cathedral on Easter Sunday

2 April – St Mary’s Foxton after 10.30 am Mass (around 11.30 am).
3 April – Cathedral 7.00 pm evening prayer followed by Rite I reconciliation.
4 April – Cathedral 7.00 pm evening prayer followed by Rite I reconciliation.
5 April – Our Lady of Lourdes, 10.00 am Mass followed by Rite I reconciliation, Cathedral, 12.05 pm Mass followed by Rite I reconciliation, Cathedral, 7.00 pm evening prayer followed by Rite I reconciliation.
Reception of Easter Candles
Our Lady of Lourdes School will present the Easter Candle for Lourdes Parish during the 10 am Mass on Wednesday, April 5.
St James School will present the Easter Candle for the Cathedral Parish during the 12.05 Mass on Wednesday, April 5.
Parishioners are welcome to attend and support the children and schools.
Please note:
Tuesday evening Mass at 5.30 pm at Our Lady of Lourdes has ended. This Mass was only for Lent. No Mass next week Tuesday evening, April 4.
The Parish Office is closed Easter Monday and Easter Tuesday inclusive.
