Our Lady of Lourdes Guild
Next meeting is Wednesday 2 August 1.30 pm in Our Lady of Lourdes gathering area. Guest speaker from Age Concern. We will have the usual flower competition, raffle and afternoon tea. Women from all parishes are most welcome to come and join us.

Lunchtime Concert – St Peter’s Anglican Church
Our next lunchtime concert at St Peter’s Anglican Church Terrace End is on Tuesday 1 August at 12.15 pm – 12.45 pm features a performance by the extremely talented violinist Haewon Kim, accompanied by pianist Guy Donaldson, playing ”Violin Concerto No. 5 in A Major” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and “Introduction and Rondo” by Camille Saint-Saens. Come to our concert  and enjoy a wonderful musical interlude in your day. All welcome, tea and coffee provided. A koha would be appreciated.

Palmy Young Catholics

23 July 2023 after 6.00 pm Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes we will be having a Kahoots night (around 7.00 pm).

29 July 2023. Join us on a day trip to Jerusalem, Whanganui – we will be leaving Our Lady of Lourdes parking lot at 8.00 am sharp and returning around 7.00 pm for the latest. We are going as a group of friends to spend the day at St Joseph’s Convent, which was built in 1892 as a base for the Sisters of Compassion, founded by Venerable Suzanne Aubert. There will be opportunities for group discussion, a chance to explore the surroundings, and Mass will be celebrated. Please bring your own lunch and $25 to help cover fuel costs. Warm, waterproof clothes are recommended! If you have any questions, email pycmanagementteam@gmail.com.

30 July 2023 after 6.00 pm Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes we will be having a General Meeting with all Palmy Young Catholics.

8 August 2023 after 6.00 pm Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes we will be having their 1st Guided programme called “Oremus”.
