PONDER

Time to lighten the load! Identify one element in your life – a relationship, attitude, behaviour –  that chronically keeps you from progressing on the spiritual journey. Take steps to reconcile, heal, and move forward. “Don’t think you need a lot of extra equipment for this. You are the equipment. No special appeals for funds. Keep it simple.

KID’S CORNER

I will hear what God proclaims; for the Lord proclaims peace. (Psalm 85: 9)

When you pray, you can talk to God about whatever is on your mind and in your heart. You can share your struggles, worries and hopes. Ask God for help. But like any good conversation, prayer also includes listening. So spend time just being quiet with God sometimes. Listen to God, and you’ll be amazed at what you will understand.

Loving God, help me listen to you. Amen.
