It has been a busy term with new initiatives, like the new sports field at St Mary’s Foxton, the new playground at Lourdes and the School Open Day at St James. Prison Chaplaincy Director sought by NZCBC – Can you help us show the love of God inside the prison walls?
E ngā mana, e ngā reo, e ngā iwi, tēnā koutou katoa. Applications are invited for the position of Prison Chaplaincy Director for the New Zealand Catholic Bishops Conference (NZCBC). This national role gives pastoral and professional leadership and support to the Catholic chaplains who provide chaplaincy services in the country’s prisons. It is also a critical role, leading an important national ministry of the Church. Marian Movement of Priests (MMP)
International visit by MMP Bishop Giovanni D’Ercole and Father Donal McIlraith to Palmerston North. Priests and laity are invited to attend a Mass, Cenacle and presentation at St Marys Church 69 Ruahine St on Saturday 8 July 2023 at 11.30 am. Please bring food for a shared lunch afterwards. MMP groups will attend from Whanganui and Hawkes Bay.
